This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information you provide when you visit our website at sel.com.sg, request a free Readiness Snapshot, contact us by email, or otherwise interact with us through this site.

1. Who we are

SEL is operating from Singapore and serving clients across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

When you complete the Readiness Snapshot enquiry form or contact us by email, we collect:

Identity and contact data — full name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number (if you provide it).
Professional context — company name, your role, primary market, industry.
Engagement-relevant context — the top three pains you describe, any notes you add, your preferred contact method, and any context relevant to a potential engagement.
Technical data — basic browser and device information collected via standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages visited, timestamps), used solely to operate and secure the website.

We do not collect special-category personal data (e.g., health, biometric, racial or political data) and do not knowingly collect personal data of children.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

Generate and send the Readiness Snapshot result you requested.
Schedule and deliver the optional 30-minute Readiness Review call where you ask for one.
Follow up with the next-step recommendation that emerges from the diagnostic.
Respond to general enquiries you send us by email.
Operate and improve the website (technical data only).

We do not sell your information. We do not share your details with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Lawful basis for processing

We process your personal information based on:

Your consent, which you provide by submitting the form or initiating the email.
Performance of a service you have requested (the Readiness Snapshot).
Our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving this website.

This policy is intended to be consistent with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore), the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia), and the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Indonesia).

5. How long we keep your information

If we do not enter an engagement together, we delete enquiry data within 90 days of our last contact, unless you ask us to retain it for a longer follow-up.
If we do enter an engagement, we retain your contact and engagement records for the duration of the engagement and for any retention period required by Singapore tax, accounting, or contractual law (typically up to 7 years).

6. Who we share your information with

We share information only with the following categories of processors:

Email and document infrastructure providers — to send and store correspondence and documents.
Hosting and analytics providers for the website itself (where applicable, listed separately when active).
Professional advisers (legal, accounting, audit) where strictly required.

We do not transfer your data outside Singapore except to such service providers under contractual safeguards.

The cookies placed by our website can only be read by us, and cannot access, read or modify any other data on an electronic device.

SEL uses cookies on its websites for the following purposes:

Building up a profile of how you and other users use the website (including but not limited to monitoring how a visitor arrives at the website, what kind of browser the visitor is on, what operating system a visitor is using, a visitor’s IP address and such clickstream data as which pages a visitor viewed, the time the pages were accessed and the time spent on each web page.
Improving the efficiency of our website.
Tracking usage statistics.
For purposes which are reasonably related to the aforesaid.
